I really enjoy taking pictures of almost anything. I'm always looking for something interesting or a shot that will show something beautiful. Taking the picture is only the beginning of the process though. I always like to see if I can make an image better by cropping in an interesting way or adjusting the contrast and color or trying special effects or other adjustments. I do most of these adjustments in Photoshop CS or Digital Photo Professional.
Since digital photography is newer to me than some of the other work I do, I still feel like I'm experimenting a lot. I haven't found one specific subject to concentrate on. Maybe I never will... My wife and I have taken some family portraits and done a couple weddings. When I have a chance, I like to shoot sporting events and nature. Here you can see a small sample of my work.

Digital Photography
Photography has interested me from the time my mom bought me my very own 35mm point and shoot camera when I was a kid. Then I got a little digital Sony point and shoot and learned how to use Photoshop and was hooked. I took a black and white film photo class in college. I didn't enjoy developing my own film and making my own prints as much but it helped me understand the basics of photography and composition. Now I have some decent digital equipment and take a camera almost everywhere I go.
